Grassmoor is a small slate built Keswick Guest House centrally located in Keswick, Lake District, Cumbria an attractive lake shore Victorian resort where the first pencils were made from local graphite. The house front gives fine views of Skiddaw while the back overlooks Victorian terraces to Walla Crag. It is 3 or 4 minutes walk to the market square and around 10 minutes walk to the Lake and Theatre. Keswick, circled by the grandeur of the high fells, lies close to the shore of picturesque Derwentwater at the foot of the scenic Borrowdale Valley. |
Muddy boots are welcome. We have a drying room and a cycle store.
Grassmoor is a non smoking guest house |

Add a whole raft of other interesting things to do and see in the area, from golf to a trip down the Honister Mines, Theatre by the Lake, exhibitions, places to picnic and play in or on the water, plus an excellent range of good cafes, pubs and restaurants. | |||
